In this article, I list the 14 industries which provided the most believable and frequent job postings for prompt engineers. For each industry, I also describe one or more real examples of job posts for AI prompt engineers.

One company on Upwork is trying to hire a Midjourney expert to conduct a one-time, 2-day training program in New York City for $2,000 plus travel and a per diem reimbursement. Here’s the description of the job on Upwork:

We write our emails to them incorporating something about their most recent video in order to boost reply rates. We’re currently doing this by manually watching the video and writing something about it. Each email takes about 10 minutes.
I’d like to meet with someone to learn more about how we can use ChatGPT or AI to cut down that time by 50-90%. Ideally this would start with a 1 hour call, and if it goes well, we’ll do a project together.
